SeaWorld Inspiration
he Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina in San Diego has debuted it’s new SeaWorld Suites. Each of the four suites features two adjoining rooms with a connecting door.
One room is a whimsical, underwater-themed room for children, and the other is a sea-inspired retreat for adults with a private balcony. The children’s room features a bunk bed with a full-sized mattress on the bottom and ocean-themed sheets, Shamu whale plush toys for your children to keep, shark-covered bean bags, and wall coverings with friendly sea creatures. Adults’ rooms feature aquatic-themed artwork and marine-inspired shower curtains and wall décor. Nightly room rates start at $359. The hotel is now offering a San Diego Adventure package with full breakfast for a family of four and 20% off gate admissions to the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, San Diego Wild Animal Park and Legoland. The resort showcases 3 lagoon style pools and waterslides, spa and gym as well as a SeaWorld water taxi that runs seasonally and is complimentary for registered children 10 and under.

Disney’s New Family Suites
Large families and those looking for a little extra space can rejoice with the opening of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Spacious family suites comfortably accommodate up to six guests and include two bathrooms, master bedroom, three separate sleeping areas within the living space including a generously sized dining or work table that easily transforms into a murphy bed. The resort recently opened its doors with the Finding Nemo Family Suites. All rooms and suites in the resort’s four sections will be available by mid-September. Located adjacent to Disney’s Pop Century Resort, the new budget resort includes 1,120 family suites in The Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo wings, and 864 themed rooms in The Little Mermaid wings — for a total of almost 2,000 new rooms.
