In the meantime, it’s helpful to remember that once service is restored, using the Global Entry Mobile App can make the arrival process even faster. The app allows you to confirm your arrival airport, take a live selfie for biometric verification, and complete your customs declaration directly from your phone.

At many airports, travelers who submit through the app can use a designated mobile entry lane, which is often even shorter than the standard Global Entry kiosk line saving you additional time when clearing passport control.
