All non-resident foreign travelers entering Argentina must now have travel medical insurance, as mandated by Decree 366/2025. The requirement applies at all entry points, including airports, border crossings, and ports. The insurance policy must provide coverage for medical and hospital care, accidents or illnesses, 24/7 emergency assistance, COVID-19 treatment, the traveler’s full stay, and evacuation or repatriation.
