Virtuoso is offering us discounted rates for MedJet.  This annual program is excellent coverage and peace of mind to supplement your other travel insurance needs.  Their medical transport membership program focuses on air medical transport to a hospital of your choice when hospitalized more than 150 miles from home. They don’t restrict transport to the nearest acceptable facility and don’t require a finding of “medical necessity” for transport. Their Medjet Assist program is now $175 for an annual individual membership or $235 per family (two adults and up to five children) while the expanded Medjet Horizon plan is $315 and $400.  Special discounts for ages 75 to 84 are also available.
