This year Yosemite celebrates its 125th anniversary!  Within its 1,250-square-miles, you’ll find ancient giant sequoias, grand waterfalls, bicycle trails, hiking trails, swimming lakes, stagecoach rides from the Pioneer History Center along with Junior Ranger programs for children.  Just outside the park gates, Tenaya Lodge is also celebrating an anniversary in 2015 — its 25th. It’s introducing a new Grand Family Adventure Package, available through March.  The package includes a standard, deluxe or cottage room; breakfast for two adults and two children and a guided snowshoe nature or flashlight hike for four.  Onsite, seasonal activities include mountain biking, rock wall climbing, archery, ice skating, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, sledding and kids snowmobiling. The lodge also has a Kids Adventure Club and Kids Camp, indoor and outdoor pools, spa and gym.
